  7. Chris Meyer says:

This is alot like the video ov a russian helicopter that looks like it’s flying without the main rotor moving. the frame speed is too close to the rpm of the prop.

    • Steve says:

Yeah, either it’s a beat frequency between the prop speed and the camera, or the propeller is rubber and slowing down and we’re all gonna diiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii………………

    • b-bomb says:

or its just the ability that the hind has. the one that makes it float without its propellers moving because of its fighter plane style jets.

  8. tim says:

its because of the scanning-line-sensor or something. basically, the whole sensor isnt read at exactly the same time, so fast moving object look weird.

    German Libary Censor. lol

  11. Johen says:

Because the ccd reads out across the chip in a finite time (instead of reading it out all at once), and because the propellor spins at approximately that rate or faster, you get this effect. That, or this plane is f**ked.

    “feels like ah been HIP-MO-TIZED!”

    Aggh! Proof of alien technology!

  19. pooslie says:

the same thing will happen with a moving car’s tires in a regular old film camera

it is caused by the image reader on the chip (or in the case of a film camera, the shutter) scanning across the sensor (or film) instead of exposing it all at once.

  20. lol says:

it looks like that cuz the amount of pictures ur camera takes is less than amount of waves that propeller do in a sex loser

  21. lordi00fan says:

that makes me rage soooo hard inside……… AARRRRGGH

I’m strangely excited. That was awesome. It sucks that you nerds can’t just enjoy the result instead of analyzing the reason.

You’re flying over the grand canyon, but find the propellers on the plane more interesting?
