So, let’s see, the implication of your title is that white people do weird stuff, yes? And that black people are normal, yes?
Let’s take a different look at this.
Clearly, the white folks had to have enough money to buy the silly costumes. Maybe even had to have them made. That means they were sufficiently educated so they had extra money to spend on foolish stuff like this. Even if their parents bought this stuff for them, the parents were sufficiently well off to be able to blow money on silly crap like this. One way or another, they were well off enough to be able to enjoy a little culture, whether you agree with, or like their culture, is of no importance.
The black guy on the other hand, has never seen anything like this. His family never had extra money to burn on weird costumes, nevermind knowing what cosplay is. He had to drop out of high school to work as a security guard to make money to support his family, which probably consisted of a single mother with one or more children, and no father, because the father wasn’t responsible enough to care for his kids.
He’ll never be anything more than a security guard. The white kids will go on to be accountants, doctors, programmers, politicians, and will contribute something useful to society, instead of trying to take advantage of it.
